The Fed has been the home to the Austin swing dance community since about
1998. It is gorgeous, big, and has an amazing floor!
The Mansion is a Texas Historic Landmark, an Austin Historic Landmark and is
listed with the National Register of Historic places. It was designed by noted
Dallas architect Henry Coke Knight to be the state headquarters for the Texas
Federation of Women's Clubs, and is considered to be one of the best examples
of Georgian Revival architecture in Texas.

Friday late night
Austin Uptown Dance is studio in the north-central heart of Austin. They have a
sweet bamboo floor and open atmosphere - i.e. doesn't feel too much like a studio.
Be warned: that bamboo floor is wicked fast! *grin* So you may want to bring another
pair of shoes to have options and figure out what works best for you.
Uptown's mission is to promote partner dancing of all styles and to keep Austin dancing!
Copa

Saturday late night; and Sunday night's Soul Jam!
Copa is one of our new favorite venues! It is a bar - but this isn't some honkytonk with a sticky beer floor.
It was designed for Latin dancers - so it has an awesome floor and amazing ambiance.
Important Note: At Saturday late night you will NOT be allowed to bring in ANY liquids. TABC has a strict policy
about bringing liquids into bars, and even though Copa will not be serving liquor on Saturday night, we don't want to get
our new favorite venue in trouble! So, for that night, minimize the amount of stuff you bring in... and definitely NO liquids.
This will be strictly enforced. Because of this, we will be providing everyone with a drink ticket that is good for a bottled
water, gatorade, etc. If you would like an additional drink, that'll be $2 at the bar.
