About Lone Star

Lone Star Championships is a social event, party weekend, that will knock your socks off! Our goal is to create an event that we've always wanted to attend: one where social dancing all night, inspired competition, and amazing workshops are the norm!

We believe that competitions bring us together to push and inspire each other to grow as dancers and as a community, as well as bring us together to support and cheer for each other. So all of the competitions at Lone Star are fun and friendly - and for all level dancers to compete with like-competitors.

And the workshops at Lone Star are taught by some of the most powerful social dancers and performers around the country / world, who are also extrodinarily nice people and inspiring on and off the dance floor.

About Us

Tena, Scott, and Don have been actively growing the Texas scenes for over 10 years each. Tena in Houston, Scott in Austin, and Don in Dallas.
