Airport and Flights

The Austin airport (AUS) is approximately 10 miles from our main venue location and suggested hotel.

Hotel

The Doubletree Guest Suites is only 1 mile from the Fed, our venue for the weekend - and just blocks from famed 6th Street night life! This is an all suite hotel with fully stocked kitchens (utensils, pots&pans, cutlery, glassware, etc). Plus they give chocolate chip cookies when you check in!

Please call the Doubletree Reservation department to book at 1-800-222-TREE (8733). Request the group rate for Lone Star Championships Swing Dance Competition or group code SDC. This special rate is available through December 31st, 2011. So if you are going to stay at the Doubletree, call them soon!

The bedroom features 2-queen beds. The living room, which is separated from your bedroom, gives the comfort of your den at home with a 25" TV and a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, with a full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave.

1 KING BED 2 ROOM SUITE WITH SOFABED - $145/night
The bedroom features a king bed. The living room, which is separated from your bedroom, gives the comfort of your den at home with a 25" TV and a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and microwave.

1 KING/2 QUEENS 3 ROOM SUITE WITH SOFABED - $229/night
Two full size bedrooms (one with two queen size beds and the other with a king size bed) and each bedroom has it's on private bathroom. Separate living area with a queen size sleeper sofa and television. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and stove.

- Exit Austin Bergstrom International Airport
- Turn left, West, on Hwy 71W and continue for 5.3 miles
- Exit onto I-35 heading north towards Waco - continue for 4.5 miles
- Exit 235A, 15th Street

Shuttle transportation via Super Shuttle is approximately $13.00 one way per person. Guests should call Super Shuttle directly at 1(800)258-3826 for reservations and rate confirmation. Super Shuttle is located directly outside baggage claim area.

Taxis are approximately $20-$25 one way and are available directly outside baggage claim area.
